• Molecular Weights: Great time and care have been taken to formulate our anti-aging products with ingredients that actually affect the skin. This has been achieved through the use of varying-sized molecules, or the molecular weights of the ingredients in each of the products.
• Permeable Membrane: Our skin is a permeable membrane - it is porous. That means if an ingredient is made of molecules small enough to penetrate through this porous membrane (our skin) the ingredient could then affect the way in which cells grow from beneath the skin's surface. However, if the molecule is too big, it simply stays on the surface of the skin.
• Cosmeceuticals: Within the cosmetics and personal care industries, the use of the term cosmeceuticals describes creams and lotions from which the skin may derive benefits such as nutrients and vitamins, etc. What most people do not know is that the nutrients and vitamins contained within these creams and lotions are made of molecules that are too big to penetrate through the skin.
